	"A Photographers Journey"
	History
	Though at a young age I was interested in photography and stealing dad's camera to have some fun with it, I never really grasped photography as a serious study until I was a Junior in High School. In the fall of of my Junior year I signed up for the school Newspaper. Each of us was given and opportunity to play around with the school Sony Mavica digital camera.... It was then that I realized I was in love! At the time, this camera was top of the line, with a built in floppy drive to store pictures and a great telephoto ability, I tore around the school with this camera like it was the only thing in my life. I soon became the school Newspaper's dedicated photographer, and my love for this art only blossomed further from there. In September of 2002 I started my career of schooling at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. With a fear of ruining the fun in photography, I decided to keep it as a side project and pursue a major in Music Education. That was short lived. I soon started my Firelite Foto business and it took off. I was taking pictures for family, friends, and also for the Baha'i Publishing Company. It was with this huge leap into the corporate world that i decided that Music was not my path, and photography was. As years went by my business only grew and my love for photography just kept growing with it. I soon had 2 calendar images published with the Baha'i Company and then two book covers along with it.
My father later ended up breaking his shoulder was was laid up for 6 months. Not being able to do anything more than watch tv and type on the computer for a few hours at a time, Dad decided to dive into writing his own book. He soon asked me if I would do the photography for this book, and also design the book cover. I jumped at the chance. This opportunity soon lead to more and more graphic work and more photography along the way. Artist Statement
As a photographer, I believe it is my duty to capture everything that my customer is looking for. Every minute detail is critical to capturing the ENTIRE memory and the ENTIRE feel of the time and place being remembered. Colour, light, feeling, emotion... it is all important. Whether my subject is a new born child just entering his or her journey, a woman and man entering their lives together, or the smile in the eyes of a beloved pet... my job is to capture that moment and save it for generations to come.
